Welcome to Year 4

Who are we?

We are Year Four and we are the oldest class in the school.  We have lots of extra responsibilities and we help our teachers with jobs.  We also take special care of the children in Reception class when they are playing in the playground, especially when they first start school. 

Who teaches us?

Miss Foster is our class teacher.

Mrs Hepworth is our teacher part time.

Mrs Maule provides lesson cover 

Miss Bowers is our teaching assistant. 

Mrs Scoulas provides additional support

In Year Four we begin to take more responsibility for our own learning and we try to work out how we learn best.  We celebrate achievement in all areas and recognise that we are all unique and each of us has a special talent.

We look forward to many new challenges as the oldest children in school. In March we visit we visit Robin Wood for our residential trip. This gives us the opportunity to try new experiences and work together.
